- Can I buy BAPE outside Japan?
- Yes. BAPECLUB is a curation and reservation service for worldwide customers seeking authentic BAPE pieces. We buy from authorised BAPE retail (BAPE Japan, ZOZOTOWN, Pondon Store, us.bape.com) and ship from Taipei to anywhere PayPal is supported. Most international markets are covered — the United States, Canada, the UK, EU, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, the Middle East, and beyond.
- How does the proxy-purchase flow work?
- You reserve on bapeclub.app and pay in USD via PayPal. We source the piece from authorised BAPE retail, run it through our Taipei authentication station, and ship it to you with tracked international post. You see one quoted price at reservation time — there's no hidden upcharge after sourcing.
- Are pre-orders refundable?
- Yes — fully refundable within 7 days if either (a) sourcing fails (the piece sells out or the retailer can no longer supply it) or (b) the item fails our authenticity check. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Once the item passes authentication and ships, sales are final except under our authenticity guarantee.
- How long does a pre-order take to arrive?
- Reservations close the Monday after the drop announcement. Sourcing typically completes within 2–3 weeks of close, authentication adds 3–5 days, and tracked international shipping runs 4–8 weeks end-to-end. Express and Priority shipping tiers are available at checkout to shorten the shipping leg. We'll email at every milestone.
- How do you verify authenticity?
- Every piece passes through our Taipei authentication station before shipping. We check stitching, branding alignment, label fonts, hangtag construction, and provenance documentation against authentic exemplars. If you receive an item you believe isn't authentic, email contact@bapeclub.co within 7 days of receipt with photos — we refund the purchase price and cover return shipping.
- Who pays customs duties and import VAT?
- Customs duties, import VAT, and any local taxes due on delivery are the buyer's responsibility under international shipping convention. We declare the actual paid value on every parcel and share the invoice with the carrier so the import broker can clear the parcel without you needing to forward documentation.
- Is BAPECLUB affiliated with A Bathing Ape or NOWHERE Co., Ltd.?
- No. BAPECLUB is an independent curation and reservation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by A BATHING APE® or NOWHERE Co., Ltd. Every reservation is sourced through authorised BAPE retail. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. We are working toward authorised-dealer status ahead of BAPE’s IPO.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- PayPal is the primary worldwide payment method — every transaction includes PayPal’s Goods & Services Buyer Protection. Bank transfer is offered for some Taiwan customers via LINE; card details are never seen by us (PayPal is a PCI-compliant processor). We don’t accept cryptocurrency yet.
- Do I need an account to use BAPECLUB?
- No account is required. Voting on the droplist is anonymous (one cookie per browser, one vote per drop per week). Pre-orders need only an email + shipping address. Joining the free Club tier gets you drop alerts and early-access reservations; that's email-based with no password.
- How is BAPECLUB different from a reseller?
- We don’t hold inventory speculatively or charge resell premiums. Every piece is sourced reactively from authorised BAPE retail at retail price + a transparent service margin (covering PayPal fees, sourcing labour, authentication, and international shipping). No hidden markup, no speculation, no fakes.
