What we are
BAPECLUB is an independent, fan-operated editorial magazine and community platform dedicated to A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and the broader Japanese streetwear canon. We curate weekly droplist spotlights, write archive notes, run a one-tap community vote, and authenticate every pre-order before it ships from Taipei.
We are not A Bathing Ape. We are not Nowhere Co. Ltd. We are a small independent team building the kind of magazine-first club the community wanted and the official brand couldn’t — the same way The Fader, Hypebeast, and Business of Fashion built cultural authority alongside (not beneath) the brands they cover.
How we handle trademarks + brand imagery
All brand names, product titles, trademarks, and imagery that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners. We use them for identification, editorial commentary, and marketplace listing purposes under fair use and nominative-fair-use doctrine (15 U.S.C. § 1125 in the US, similar doctrines in Japan and the EU).

Authentication pipeline
Every BAPE item that passes through a BAPECLUB pre-order ships to our Taipei authentication station, is inspected by hand (tag codes, stitching, hardware, hangtags, country-of-origin markers), and only then forwarded to the buyer. We log every authentication in an immutable audit trail. Items that fail are refunded and returned to the supplier with a written note. We don’t sell grey-market fakes, ever.
Editorial independence
Our editorial is owner-curated. We never mirror Instagram content, we never re-host copyrighted imagery without attribution, and we never accept paid placements inside the editorial line. When a supplier pays to accelerate a listing, we disclose it. When a brand invites us to an event, we disclose it.
