Shinsuke Takizawa's NEIGHBORHOOD is the closest thing BAPE has to a brand sibling in the Tokyo design lineage — both came up out of the late-90s Harajuku scene, both built their visual identity on a tight set of repeating motifs. NBHD's vintage motorcycle palette + BAPE's shark line sits well together.
Recent capsules have leaned into outerwear: BAPE-cut motorcycle jackets in NBHD's signature waxed canvas, oversized BAPE STA-style sneakers with NBHD's logo lockup, and the kind of small-detail trim work (zipper pulls, label tags) that NBHD does better than almost anyone in streetwear.
